• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or other quantitative fields with AI/ML relation.
• More than 4 years of professional experience in Data Science/Data Analytics with a proven track record in Data Science projects.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Experience with visualization of complex data.
• Very good experience with cloud services and Data Science-related components, especially in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and/or Agentic AI solutions in business projects solving real-world challenges.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Team player, curious, with initiative and motivation to work in an agile, international and interdisciplinary environment.

• Translate business requirements into analytical use cases (Generative AI and Machine Learning) and drive innovation and efficiency across the Vaillant Group.
• Analyze business use cases regarding feasibility and effort estimation based on the Vaillant data model, including data quality and necessary preprocessing steps.
• Apply state-of-the-art GenAI design patterns (including Agentic Workflows) and machine learning techniques to address business stakeholder needs.
• Critically evaluate AI solutions and analyses using metrics to validate the achievement of business objectives and recommend improvements.
• Communicate results with cross-functional project members and stakeholders, using clear presentations and understandable visualizations of insights.
• Utilize cloud services and self-programmed (Python) applications to develop production-ready AI/ML solutions.
