Model Based Development Engineer

• Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a comparable technical field.
• Experience with Matlab and Simulink modeling.
• Knowledge of requirements management and testing approaches such as model-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing.
• Familiarity with control models, simulation tools, C++ for embedded integration, and modern software testing frameworks.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of heating systems, heat pumps.
• Experience with agile development methods.
• Understanding of connectivity topics.
• Communication skills in English; German is an additional advantage.

• Create and refine control models for heating and cooling systems using Matlab and Simulink.
• Derive models into C++ embedded platform for software integration.
• Define and manage software requirements in Polarion.
• Conduct simulation-based and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with agile teams to achieve sprint goals and deliver value.
• Work across system control and human-machine-interface streams to ensure seamless feature interaction.
