Lead QA Engineer

• 7+ years of development experience with Python
• 7+ years experience with database technologies
• 5+ years experience with Git
• 4+ years experience with Robot Framework
• 4+ years experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Strong working experience with Linux and Bash
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest and Zephyr
• Experience using Jenkins or Bamboo, Jira, and Bitbucket
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with developers, analysts, POs, and SMs
• Familiarity with distributed data processing engines like Spark
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Oozie, MapReduce, etc.)
• Confident in writing complex SQL queries
• Basic AWS knowledge about architectural components (Lambda, Step Functions, State Machine, etc.)

Nice to have:

• Experience with containerization using Docker
• Knowledge of streaming and queue technologies such as Kafka and IBM MQ
• Exposure to Scala/Spark

• Direct software development teams and define testing strategies
• Automate testing processes to ensure product reliability before release
• Drive implementation of automation tools and best practices to optimize testing efficiency
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within Agile setup (SAFe Framework)
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Implement test automation scripts in Robot Framework and Python
• Execute automated regression tests using CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and report defects
• Identify and implement process improvements in daily tasks and challenges

Possible location: Trójmiasto, Warszawa or Łódź. Hybrid work possible with 1 day/week office presence plus once/twice per year physical presence in Gdynia/Gdańsk for quarterly planning (2 days) may be required.
