Specialist Engineer - DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is within the global Digital Business Automation function of the Chief Technology Office, focusing on defining and executing strategies for critical enterprise platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of key technology services.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering Ansible-based automation within Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement automation in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, comfortable in a global, multicultural setup.
• High level of ownership and collaboration mindset.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with improving IT services powered by vendor software solutions.
• Domain experience in one or more areas: File Transmission products (e.g., IBM SFG/SSP/SEAS/CD), Mainframe (z/OS) and job execution workflows, BMC Control-M.
• Understanding regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements in large organisations.

• Work with stakeholders to understand processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and develop resilient automation solutions to eliminate manual tasks and accelerate deployments.
• Embed security-by-design principles, including secrets management, least privilege access, and vulnerability management.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to ensure reliable and repeatable execution.
• Build automated tests for developed solutions to validate functionality and stability.
• Monitor and optimise process performance, ensuring scalability and headroom for future demands.
• Document solutions and foster knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
