QA Automation Engineer (Transportation System)

Our client is a Canadian multinational software company specializing in intelligent transportation systems and transit scheduling solutions. The company develops mission-critical products used by more than 80 transit agencies across North America, helping them optimize routing, scheduling, and operational efficiency. Its proven technology reduces operational costs by 1-5% and supports scalable, cloud-based modernization of transportation systems.

The project is a web adaptive application integrated with third-party services and built as a module of an existing system. It helps paratransit providers manage the eligibility process through a modern, accessible, and configurable platform. The solution supports individuals with disabilities in applying for eligibility and connects them with the existing PASS system for ride booking.

• 1+ years of experience in automation testing
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Knowledge of Playwright
• Understanding of OOP principles and programming patterns
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of REST API principles
• English level: B1 or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with Playwright in commercial projects
• Experience with web UI automation testing
• Experience or basic knowledge of AI tools, such as Claude Code

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI tests for a web adaptive application using TypeScript and Playwright
• Maintain and organize test cases in a structured and scalable way
• Integrate and run automated tests in Azure DevOps CI pipelines
• Analyze test results and reports, including Allure, to identify failed tests
• Contribute to extending automation coverage and building a reliable test suite for future releases
