QA Engineer Playwright

• Experience testing eCommerce applications.
• Solid experience with test automation using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• Proficiency in Agile environments and in-sprint automation.
• Hands-on experience with Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Good knowledge and experience in testing APIs and web services.
• Experience in accessibility testing and visual testing using Playwright.
• Experience in backend testing including databases (DB2, Oracle) and SQL querying.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX commands and log verifications.
• Experience testing RESTful services using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Automation-first mindset with ability to identify data requirements and implement tests.
• Experience with existing test automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript and willingness to enhance them.
• Experience in test automation within continuous integration environments.
• Familiarity with source code control systems like GitHub, BitBucket, or similar.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.

Nice to have:

• Retail sector experience.
• Experience working with Cypress.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce, Magento, Hybris, or other eCommerce platforms.
• Experience using Jira, Rally, or Azure tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure pipelines.

Primary responsibilities:

• Ensure quality and reliability of an eCommerce application through automated testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber following BDD approach.
• Perform UI, API, and database testing.
• Participate actively in the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate in daily stand-ups and work closely with developers.
• Utilize feedback from stakeholders to expand test scenarios.
• Adapt and reprioritize tasks in a fast-paced team environment.

This is a full-time position located in Poland. The selection process and communication will be conducted in English.
