Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

The client for this role is one of the Big Four accounting firms, headquartered in London, operating in 150+ countries with over 460,000 professionals delivering audit, tax, consulting, and advisory services.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering
• 7+ years of development experience
• Competency in .NET Framework and ASP.NET Web API
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
• Experience with Azure Cloud and SaaS offerings such as Service Bus, Blob, and Redis
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems
• Pragmatic approach balancing process and flexibility
• Strong organizational skills including self-management, work structuring, prioritization, and meeting deadlines

Nice to have:

• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and scalable system implementation

• Provide requirements analysis, system design, .NET development, database development, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical support
• Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed
• Work independently and collaboratively within the team
• Communicate clear instructions to team members and manage day-to-day operations
• Regularly communicate with the client
• Provide leadership by mentoring, coaching, and leading by example
