Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Engineer / People Analyst to join a growing Business Intelligence team focused on building a data-driven organization. This role combines expertise in data engineering, analytics, and workforce reporting to support strategic People & Culture initiatives and HR cost management.

The successful candidate will work with large and complex datasets, delivering insights related to workforce trends, organizational effectiveness, salaries, and other employee-related costs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI, including DAX and tabular data models.
• Practical experience using Python for analytics, automation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and tools such as dbt.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical audiences.
• Very good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience working with SAP HR systems or modules will be considered an advantage.

• Build and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL and dbt to support HR and workforce analytics initiatives.
• Create and enhance advanced Power BI dashboards for monitoring employee engagement, workforce trends, and organizational performance.
• Analyze labor costs, compensation data, and financial metrics to support regional and business objectives.
• Perform advanced statistical analyses and automate reporting workflows using Python.
• Ensure data quality and compliance by conducting regular audits of HR data across SAP HR and other systems.
• Partner with stakeholders from HR, Finance, and business teams to deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations.
