Mid/Senior Unreal Programmer

Chronospace is a game development studio based in Trójmiasto, known for titles such as Aviators and Gra Szyfrów. The studio is currently working on several gaming and educational projects, including their ambitious title War Mechanic.

• Solid production-level C++ skills
• Practical experience with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5: Gameplay Framework (Actor, Component, GAS), C++/Blueprint integration, basics of replication
• Experience in full game production cycle from preproduction to shipping and post-release
• Basic practice with UE character systems: Animation Blueprint, physics, animation integration with gameplay, Sequencer
• Communicative English (B2+) for documentation, code reviews, and some technical conversations; daily and team work conducted in Polish

Nice to have:

• Experience with Niagara FX, ChaosDestruction, Lumen or other newer UE5 systems
• Profiling and performance improvement using Unreal Insights, RenderDoc, custom stat groups
• Experience mentoring or leading small teams

• Program gameplay systems in C++ and Blueprints from concept to playable build tested by the team
• Take responsibility for specific game areas such as minigames, characters, animations, physics, environment interactions, AI, or other strong areas
• Co-create tools and pipelines to facilitate work for designers and artists
• Participate in production and internal team meetings, share knowledge with mid- and junior developers

• The position requires hybrid work; full remote work is not available
• The studio focuses on single-player premium and hybrid AA and educational games; mobile or live service free-to-play games are not part of the projects
• The work style is autonomous with available leads but no daily micromanagement
