Java Developer

The position is in the banking industry, focusing on software development with a senior level of experience. The role involves working in a hybrid model in Warsaw, Poland, with one day per week in the office.

• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Framework (including Spring Boot)
• Experience in microservice architecture (design, integrations, observability, resilience)
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases (modeling, optimization, SQL)
• Documented experience working with legacy code and modernizing/refactoring systems (refactoring, strangler pattern, phased migrations, regression tests)
• Experience in the payments domain (e.g., transfers, standing orders, batches, statuses, confirmations, settlements, integrations with external systems)
• Practical experience using LLM and AI Agents in software development (e.g., code generation, tests, analysis, documentation, migration)
• Ability to critically assess AI results: verify correctness, security, quality, compliance with requirements and standards
• Soft skills for AI-assisted development: systemic and critical thinking, quality focus, fast learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
• Knowledge of migration and modernization patterns (e.g., gradual domain extraction, API contracts)

• Prepare and conduct tests (integration, unit)
• Verify compliance of changes with system architecture and standards (review, quality control)
• Prepare changes for deployment (code repository, configurations, deployment documentation)
