SAP ABAP Developer with German (PS, RE-FX)

We seek an experienced SAP ABAP Developer who is fluent in German (C1 mandatory) and familiar with the PS and RE-FX modules. The person in this role will perform hands-on development within SAP S/4HANA transformation projects and will act as an intermediary in technical and functional discussions with the client.

• Strong ABAP development experience, including hands-on work in development, debugging and enhancement delivery.
• German language proficiency at C1 level (mandatory) to enable direct client communication and coordination with German partners.
• Familiarity or practical experience with PS (Project System) and RE-FX (Real Estate Management) modules.
• Experience working in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield and/or Brownfield) and in implementations or administration of SAP system landscapes.
• Proven capability to analyse defects, implement fixes and manage priorities in a testing-driven delivery environment.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills in German to act as intermediary between technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Ability to work flexibly under changing demands arising from testing phases, change requests, defect resolution, Go-Live and Hypercare while ensuring predictable deliveries.

• Perform ABAP development, debugging and targeted enhancements to support SAP S/4HANA landscape requirements, with emphasis on finance and procurement-related functionality.
• Analyse defects identified during cross-system testing, produce root-cause assessments and implement corrective developments.
• Act as the primary German-speaking technical contact in discussions with the client and German implementation partners, ensuring clear and accurate communication of requirements and solutions.
• Coordinate and prioritise development tasks across the team, delegate work, and monitor progress to maintain delivery timelines.
• Deliver and maintain interfaces and integration components connected to neighbouring modules and BW topics.
• Contribute to architecture, implementation, migration and operational activities as required by the project lifecycle.
• Support change request implementation, Go-Live activities and Hypercare, adapting priorities as testing and production support needs evolve.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
