Automation Tester/QA (C#)

Scalo offers a stable collaboration on a greenfield Core project in the financial/debt collection industry for a market leader, using Domain-Driven Design (DDD). The role involves developing and testing key components of a new debt management ecosystem, focusing on microservices with event-driven architecture and modern technology stack including C#, .NET 10, xUnit, Cypress, Playwright, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Tester/QA Engineer, including at least 2 years at Senior level
• Practical experience testing distributed systems and service integrations
• Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architecture (queues, messaging)
• Proficient in creating and maintaining automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and testing tools such as xUnit, Reqnroll, Shouldly, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience testing REST APIs and using tools like Postman or Apidog
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions) and integrating tests into pipelines
• Proficient with Git, branching, and merge requests
• Familiarity with Jira and Xray for test management and reporting
• Ability to work with databases and SQL (PostgreSQL) for business logic validation
• Interest or experience in performance testing (e.g., k6, JMeter)
• Proactive in analyzing business and technical requirements and collaborating with development teams
• Commitment to high quality, QA best practices, and knowledge sharing

• Design, create, and maintain automated tests for microservices based on event-driven architecture
• Perform backend testing and automate API and end-to-end tests in a .NET environment
• Implement and develop performance tests using tools like k6
• Collaborate with Chapter Leads, Test Leads, and development teams using Agile (Kanban-like) methodology
• Work 100% remotely with optional initial onboarding at the Wrocław office
