R&D Manager (k/m)

Our client is a company operating in the food and bakery production industry.

• Experience in R&D in the flour or bakery industry.
• Master's degree in food technology.
• Extensive experience working with flour and other bakery ingredients (flour expert) and knowledge of modern methods and latest trends in process and quality management.
• Experience in managerial positions in R&D teams in reputable bakery or milling companies.
• Experience working with dough properties, enzymes, etc.
• Business understanding and knowledge of commercial and financial priorities of the enterprise.
• Ability to build a highly effective team, very good communication and presentation skills in English.

• Managing and developing the R&D team, including recruitment, training, and building a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Creating and implementing R&D strategy and overseeing the full cycle of new product development from feasibility and concept through planning, testing, to implementation.
• Close cooperation with Sales, Marketing, Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments, as well as with clients and suppliers, to develop solutions and solve technological problems.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements, cost optimization, and activities supporting company profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and legal requirements; conducting internal audits.
• Supervising project budgets, technical documentation, and adherence to internal procedures and systems.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the bakery sector.
• Reporting results, analyses, and recommendations directly to the CEO.
