Java Developer

Scalo is involved in the development and maintenance of an insurance system, working with modern technologies and agile teams.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Java/JEE Developer
• Proficient with GIT
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, especially Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Use of Gradle or Maven in daily work
• Good understanding of OOP principles and multithreading
• Knowledge and application of design patterns
• Experience working with TDD and BDD approaches
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Programming experience in GOSU
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, and HTML5
• Comfortable working in Scrum and open to experimenting with new technologies
• Appreciation for DevOps approach and teamwork

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance or banking industry
• Experience working on large enterprise systems
• Willingness to actively participate in architecture design and process improvement

• Design and implement solutions within an agile team
