Java Developer

Client: Polish insurance company.

• Knowledge of GIT
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Java/JEE developer
• Openness to work in a scrum team, experiment with new technologies, and work in a DevOps spirit
• Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, especially Oracle/PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of build automation tools Gradle or Maven
• Knowledge of OOP principles and multithreading programming
• Service provision from the territory of Poland

Nice to have:

• Design patterns
• Knowledge of TDD and BDD approaches
• Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience programming in GOSU
• JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5

• Co-develop and program in the Everest system
• Participate in developing solution concepts for business initiatives
• Maintain and update technical documentation repositories for IT systems
• Ensure quality of produced software and compliance with standards
• Support acceptance testing and solution deployment
• Participate in planning releases and iterations within an agile team
• Participate in and lead reviews and retrospectives within iterations and releases
• Design solutions implemented by the agile team
• Implement solutions accepted by the team
• Support stabilization and maintenance of deployed solutions
