Founding Head of Operations HealthTech / AI / Mental Health

Mind Friend is a psychology and mental health marketplace platform designed to connect service users with qualified therapists and mental health professionals. The product is built and ready to launch, with existing users and early traction. Mind Friend operates in the mental health, healthtech, marketplace, and AI-enabled digital platform sectors.

• Experience in roles such as COO, Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, Head of Product, General Manager, Startup Advisor, or Venture Builder
• Startup veteran with experience building a company from early stage to scale, ideally in healthtech, AI, SaaS, marketplaces, mental health, wellbeing, or regulated sectors
• Leadership level technical or AI background capable of evaluating engineering decisions and experience with AI products or tech-enabled marketplaces
• Operator's mindset comfortable with spreadsheets, board meetings, product specifications, and hiring panels
• Fundraising experience with pre-seed, seed, or Series A rounds
• Mission-driven with a belief in the importance of mental health and motivated by equity, ownership, and impact rather than salary
• Geographically flexible and willing to travel and relocate as business demands
• Ability to bring order to fast-moving environments and work independently

• Lead end-to-end launch readiness including operational processes, technical roadmap, compliance, vendor selection, and go-to-market execution
• Own the technical and product strategy by translating the founders' vision into a delivery plan with engineers, designers, and external partners
• Build the regulatory and legal foundation for a healthcare-adjacent marketplace covering data protection, therapist verification, clinical governance, safeguarding, and terms of service
• Set up internal systems and team structure including hiring, workflows, tooling, and performance management
• Drive fundraising alongside the founders including investor materials, financial models, data room, pipeline management, and due diligence
• Help shape and tell the company story to investors, partners, clinicians, and early users
• Manage ongoing operations and prioritize projects

This is a founding role with a modest base salary and significant equity upside. Candidates must be flexible to relocate and travel as required by the business.
