SAP ABAP Developer – SAP ECC 6.0 & SAP HCM (Support & Project Delivery)

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP / ABAP OO Developer to join an international SAP delivery team supporting and enhancing enterprise SAP solutions based on SAP ECC 6.0. The role combines ongoing application support, maintenance activities, and project delivery work within a complex SAP landscape. The environment includes collaboration with global stakeholders and business teams across multiple SAP modules and business domains. The position is particularly suited for professionals with experience in SAP HCM/HR development, ABAP technical design, and enterprise SAP integrations, preferably within pharmaceutical, chemical, or highly regulated industries.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 environment.
• Very good knowledge of ABAP programming and ABAP Object-Oriented (ABAP OO) programming.
• Strong experience in RICEF development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Practical experience with the SAP Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with at least one of the following technologies: SAP Interactive Adobe Forms, SAP Workflow, Web Dynpro for ABAP, SAP Web Services.
• Ability to work both in system support services and project-based delivery activities.
• Independent working style, strong ownership, and professional approach to responsibilities.
• Advanced English communication skills.

SAP HCM / CHRIS Support Requirements (Preferred / Role-Specific):

• Good knowledge of Web Dynpro for ABAP.
• Good knowledge of SAP HCM programming.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as SAP HCM ABAP Developer.
• General understanding of SAP HR business processes.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP HR, SAP BW, SAP XI/PI, or SAP Portal programming.
• Knowledge of modern SAP technologies, including SAP HANA programming, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori.
• General understanding of SAP FI/CO, SAP SD, and SAP SCM business processes.
• Experience within Pharmaceutical or Chemicals industry environments.
• Experience working in an international / global delivery environment.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP custom developments in SAP ECC 6.0.
• Deliver technical solutions using ABAP and ABAP OO programming standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Provide production support and incident resolution for running SAP systems.
• Participate in implementation projects, system enhancements, and change requests.
• Develop and maintain solutions using the SAP Enhancement Framework.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and international technical teams.
• Contribute to technical analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Support integration scenarios and cross-functional developments involving SAP business processes.
• Ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable SAP developments.
• Support and enhance SAP HCM (HR) applications and developments.
• Deliver technical solutions related to SAP HCM programming and HR business processes.
• Develop and maintain applications using Web Dynpro for ABAP within the SAP HCM landscape.
