UE Gameplay Programmer

Founded in 2012, Anshar Studios focuses on 1st and 3rd party game development for all major gaming platforms. Currently, the studio employs over 180 specialists in Katowice.

• At least 3 years of experience as Gameplay Programmer.
• Credited as a programmer in at least 1 commercial video game.
• Working knowledge of Gameplay Ability System and Gameplay Tags.
• Basic familiarity with multiplayer game development and networking in Unreal Engine.
• Good C++ knowledge.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Reliable, organized, eager to learn.
• Good team communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of game creation processes and pipelines.
• Intermediate Polish (B1/B2 level).
• Intermediate English (B1/B2 level).

Pluses:

• Unreal Engine proficiency.
• Familiarity with Gameplay Ability System and Gameplay Tags.
• C++ proficiency.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and common design patterns.
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level).
• Passion for video games.
• Passion for cRPG and P&P RPG.

• Develop features and contribute to sub-systems under the guidance of senior programmers.
• Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions for assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues within your area of work and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other programmers to ensure seamless integration of gameplay elements.
• Implement gameplay features in Unreal Engine according to provided designs and specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following team standards and best practices.
• Debug and optimize your own code to ensure performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Contribute ideas to gameplay design and implementation discussions.
• Create clear technical documentation for the features you develop.
• Demonstrate care and commitment to quality software development.
