IBM Sterling OMS Architect (Retail Commerce)

SoftServe is a company involved in delivering modern Order Management solutions for global retail organizations, focusing on enterprise retail and omnichannel commerce environments.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS
• Experience with IBM Sterling OMS architecture, implementation, and retail commerce ecosystems
• Good understanding of the OMS ecosystem, including inventory, fulfillment, order orchestration, returns, and customer service processes
• Experience working in enterprise retail and omnichannel commerce environments
• Knowledge of integrations with eCommerce, ERP, CRM, WMS, and payment platforms
• Understanding of solution design, APIs, integrations, and distributed architectures
• Openness to work directly with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and client-facing consulting projects
• Strong communication skills and a professional level of English
• German language skills (would be a strong advantage)

• Architect and modernize enterprise OMS solutions for global retail organizations
• Lead client workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution alignment discussions
• Drive architecture decisions across order lifecycle management and fulfillment orchestration
• Collaborate with cross-functional commerce, integration, and cloud engineering teams
• Support presales activities, solution estimations, and technical proposal preparation
• Contribute to enterprise commerce transformation initiatives with measurable business impact
• Act as a trusted advisor in a client-facing role combining architecture, consulting, and delivery leadership
