Software Engineer 1 (Go) - Technical Platform

We are seeking a talented and open-minded Junior Software Engineer to join our Tech Platform team. The team develops a high-performance L7 platform designed to process hundreds of thousands of requests per second, including custom antibot solutions and HTTP cache management. The platform operates at an international scale with ultra low latency and high precision, leveraging Kubernetes and cloud-native tools to scale extensively.

• Basic understanding of the Go language or strong drive to master it quickly
• Solid background in core programming concepts and software architecture
• Familiarity with REST, JSON, and Microservices
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• English language proficiency at B2 level for effective global collaboration

Nice to have:

• Experience with Web Application Firewalls
• DevOps mindset and interest in Kubernetes workload deployment and optimization
• Experience with Git version control
• Python skills for maintaining automation tools and legacy services
• Solid grasp of Unix concepts and commands

• Protect Allegro against bad actors with ultra low latency and high precision
• Work with HTTP caching, reverse proxies, and routing to master application-layer traffic
• Develop cloud-native tools designed to scale on a massive Kubernetes platform
• Participate in design sessions and code reviews, including challenging senior colleagues
