Data Engineer

Seeking a skilled Data Engineer proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL and Databricks with experience in data pipeline orchestration and CI/CD tools.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with data concepts such as data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data governance
• Experience working in data platform or analytics-driven environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to handle cross-team dependencies
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and prioritize requests based on business value, criticality, and time-to-market
• Define, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate alignment and coordination across multiple internal product teams
• Manage incoming requests via service portal by triaging, prioritizing, and routing tickets
• Reduce direct support load on developers through structured request handling
• Work closely with engineering leads to refine stories and ensure delivery clarity
• Define and monitor SLAs for development and implementation teams
• Track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth execution of work items
• Treat the platform as a product – define capabilities, track adoption, and measure user satisfaction
• Ensure proactive communication with stakeholders and maintain transparency on priorities and timelines
• Use Jira effectively for backlog management, tracking, and reporting
• Drive a proactive and ownership-driven approach to product execution
