Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS)

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably TypeScript
• Expertise in SVN/Jenkins, Jenkins infrastructure and Jenkins runners
• Skills in GitHub, GitHub Actions/workflows and CI/CD best practices
• Capability to utilize Claude Skills and Copilot
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation and Docker, along with cloud-based databases
• Background in Cloud Platform engineering, cloud-native application development and automated testing
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and OpenTelemetry
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure, networking and security best practices
• Competency in performance optimization
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English, with client-facing experience

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python or Java
• Familiarity with security tools and fixing security vulnerabilities
• Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP), firewalls and basic troubleshooting and monitoring

• Lead the design, implementation and deployment of scalable and reliable cloud platforms aligned with business and enterprise needs, driving continuous technical and operational improvements
• Maintain and enhance automation processes and scripts to support scalable and repeatable workflows
• Develop automation for migrating repositories from SVN/Jenkins to GitHub, support repository setup post-migration and assist with build/deployment failures
• Improve build and deployment speed, enhance developer experience with CI/CD and optimize end-to-end integrations
• Offer hands-on support to troubleshoot and assist development teams in resolving build or deployment failures
• Establish and maintain technical standards, best practices and documentation to ensure efficient, well-governed development and operational workflows
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical designs and recommend appropriate tools and solutions
• Drive cross-team collaboration on complex initiatives and special projects, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies
• Serve as a technical point of accountability, balancing hands-on contribution with leadership responsibilities to ensure successful delivery
