Application Operation Specialist

The Process Platform & Automation (PPA) cluster at Commerzbank focuses on core process automation capabilities to drive process efficiency. The team collaborates closely with business units and the Digital Office (DO) to deliver automated solutions and shared platforms. Commerzbank is a leading international commercial bank with branches in almost 50 countries, transitioning towards becoming a digital enterprise and working in inter-locational and international agile teams.

• Good knowledge of Cloud technologies (GCP is an asset)
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably with GCP, Terraform, ArgoCD
• High knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Cloud Monitoring
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Camunda is an asset

• Maintain, configure, develop, and update automated delivery pipelines
• Ensure high stability of applications in test and production environments
• Implement adaptations required for upcoming releases
• Define and execute preventive measures for stable production rollouts with minimal incidents
• Prepare and execute application deployments
• Migrate and manage deployment pipelines
• Create change requests and related documentation for releases
• Regularly update application certificates
• Monitor and maintain the health of application environments
• Handle Camunda defects according to defined processes
• Actively contribute to technology stack changes and improvements
• Document defects, variations, and fixes, and perform retesting after resolution
• Collaborate closely with the development team
• Create clear error reports for the development team and track their resolution
