Senior BI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence & Data Visualization Specialist for a long-term engagement with one of our key clients, a global leader in the professional services sector. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of product design, business intelligence, and data science experts.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including a strong command of DAX and Power Query.
• Good understanding of databases, data modeling, and practical experience with SQL.
• Proven track record of conducting client workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Solid knowledge of data visualization principles and information design best practices.
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is essential for working on international projects.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx) or scripting in Python.
• Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Background in UX/UI design and familiarity with design software (e.g., Figma).
• Practical skills in using Microsoft Fabric or Power Platform (e.g., Power Apps).
• Knowledge of other BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Familiarity with Generative AI topics and their practical applications in BI.
• Experience in overseeing or mentoring team members on projects.

• Designing and developing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analytical applications, primarily using Power BI.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Performing data modeling and creating advanced calculations and queries using DAX and Power Query.
• Transforming complex data sources into intuitive, clear, and aesthetically pleasing visualizations.
• Ensuring data accuracy and the high quality of all BI solutions.
• Acting as a key point of contact between the business users and the data science/engineering teams.
