Software Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role involves joining a global technology team working on innovative trading platforms and solutions for complex financial products, supporting trading, pricing, and lifecycle management processes within an Agile/DevOps culture.

• Strong back-end development experience in Java.
• Kotlin experience is highly valued.
• Background in developing large-scale, complex systems including concurrent processing.
• Solid knowledge of design principles, SDLC, and a DevOps mindset (Agile, automation, quality).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate a complex global environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with Sales/Trading desks and internal tech teams.
• Experience in trading systems development is a strong advantage.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to C# (OMS back-end services).
• Familiarity with VBA (for migrating existing solutions).
• Knowledge of Equity Derivatives / Structured Products front-to-back (trade capture, pricing, lifecycle).
• Cloud exposure: GCP, AWS.
• Familiarity with data stores: MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with web services and event-driven architecture.

• Build and support the strategic Order Management System (OMS), pricing, and front-to-back booking/lifecycle platforms.
• Design and implement high-quality solutions, contributing to architecture and implementation decisions as part of a global development team.
• Work end-to-end across all delivery phases: requirements analysis, development, test automation, deployment, and support.
• Partner closely with Sales/Trading desks and internal Technology teams, adjusting communication to the audience.
• Participate in DevOps and production support (via rota) and proactively drive automation improvements.
• Help analyse and migrate existing Excel/VBA tools towards strategic stacks (Java/Kotlin/C#), where required.
