Test Engineer

• Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation and BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
• Solid programming background in Java with excellent coding and test design principles
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks for mobile platforms
• Proven ability to test across iOS and Android using real devices and/or device farms
• Familiarity with Selenium for browser-based test automation
• Experience with GitHub or similar VCS, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Understanding of API testing, network behaviors, and different user roles/permissions

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of accessibility testing, analytics tagging validation
• Exposure to performance and reliability testing for mobile apps
• Experience coordinating QA activities and supporting Agile ceremonies
• Passion for mobile technology and familiarity with a range of devices and OS versions

• Develop and maintain BDD-driven automation using Cucumber, Java, Selenium, and Appium
• Test new features and enhancements across iOS and Android applications to guarantee optimal user experience
• Maintain robust device and OS coverage including real devices and device farms
• Execute and report test activities (manual and automated) across mobile and browser environments
• Perform manual and exploratory tests for usability and device-specific scenarios not ideal for automation
• Identify requirement gaps, risks, and propose mitigation strategies early in delivery
• Track, log, and retest defects in Jira, working closely with developers for timely resolution
• Support QA coordination, planning, and reporting within Agile delivery streams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA best practices
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and analysts to maintain delivery momentum
