Senior Security Compliance Analyst

Zendesk is a leading SaaS company powering billions of conversations with over 100,000 brands globally. The role is part of the global Security team focused on technical security compliance.

• Solid skills in application/UI testing and understanding of SaaS stacks.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS cloud environments, preferably AWS; Azure and GCP are helpful.
• Workable understanding or ability to rapidly learn compliance frameworks and privacy standards such as GDPR, ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP.
• Solid understanding of security fundamentals including RBAC, PLP, authentication mechanisms, CIA triad, risk and remediation strategies.
• Previous experience in a technical role.
• Ability to facilitate business initiatives or cross-functional projects aligned with security strategies.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to various audiences.
• Experience in automations and integrations is helpful.

• Conduct comprehensive technical reviews to identify potential flaws in products, focusing on HIPAA and FedRamp compliance.
• Engage in reporting and data analysis tasks.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and act as a trusted advisor collaborating with Legal, Engineering, Product, and GRC teams.
• Provide technical expertise in customer meetings and sales engagements.
