Senior Cloud Data Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software House solutions for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Approximately 5–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Higher education in computer science or related fields is welcome.
• Practical knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
• Several years of cloud experience, including practical work with GCP (BigQuery, Dataform); mixed experience with AWS + GCP is acceptable.
• Experience with version control systems (Git / Bitbucket / Azure Repos).
• Knowledge of data warehouses, ETL processes, and integration of various data sources.
• Good knowledge of Oracle analytical functions.
• Very good communication skills and fluent English for cooperation with technical and business teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Tableau.
• Experience with SAP and SAP BW.
• Basic knowledge of working in an Agile environment.

• Creating new functionalities according to business requirements in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataform).
• Working with relational and multidimensional databases.
• Participating in scaling solutions, code optimization, problem solving, and quality control after deployment.
• Developing and optimizing data transformation and loading processes.
• Migrating and modernizing Oracle structures to BigQuery while maintaining performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Using standard pipelines and implementing good Data Engineering practices.
• Collaborating with integration teams and Data & Analytics on automating data lineage.
• Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements in the GCP environment.
• Cooperating with data analysts and business stakeholders in defining requirements.
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge.
• Keeping up with new technologies and best practices in data and cloud areas.
