AI Developer

Scalo is involved in projects related to insurance, designing and implementing AI/LLM solutions in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

• Experience working with Azure AI/ML services including Azure AI Foundry / Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning
• Programming skills in Python (preferred) or .NET (C#) with ability to create SDK/REST-based services and automated tests
• Experience with RAG solutions, vectors, indexes, document normalization, and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of MLOps/DevOps practices for AI, including working with Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with advanced document chunking techniques (recursive, semantic, layout-aware)
• Experience with advanced document retrieval methods including multi-step retrieval and re-ranking
• Experience deploying and scaling RAG solutions in production environments
• Ability to optimize costs of language model-based solutions
• Experience working with AI agents, their orchestration, and evaluation
• Knowledge of reliability patterns such as retry and circuit breaker
• Practice in data security including PII, GDPR, red teaming for LLM, and content filtering
• Ability to collaborate with business, legal, and security teams
• Willingness to share knowledge and support AI competency development within the team

• Participation in a project in the insurance domain related to designing and implementing AI/LLM solutions in Microsoft Azure cloud
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining AI/LLM services based on Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning
• Building and developing RAG solutions, AI agents, and orchestration of workflows from prototype to stable production
• Integrating AI solutions with domain systems via API and working with APIM, Functions, AKS/ACI
• Creating and maintaining MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML components using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and IaC (Bicep/Terraform)
• Working on prompt engineering, prompt versioning, evaluation, and monitoring the quality of model responses
• Designing and developing knowledge bases used by AI solutions
• Collaborating with product owners, architects, security teams, and legal teams regarding Data & AI Governance and AI Act
• Optimizing costs, reliability, and quality of AI solutions (observability, alerting, SLO/SLA)
• Designing solutions at the intersection of Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio), and RPA (UiPath)
• Sharing knowledge, preparing technical documentation, architectural patterns, and AI best practices
• Working in a hybrid model: remotely and from the office in Warsaw
• Providing services exclusively from the territory of Poland
