Data Governance Specialist

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It primarily focuses on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Experience in Data Governance, data security, data risk management, or information control
• Practical experience designing and implementing operational Data Governance models in complex organizations
• Strong knowledge of data access control, data classification, auditability, and policy- and standards-based data management
• Experience with data quality frameworks and monitoring
• Knowledge of data privacy, retention, and usage principles
• Ability to translate security and governance requirements into practical solutions and implementation processes
• Experience collaborating with technical, business, legal, and operational stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience in new technologies, industry, infrastructure, R&D, or innovative environments
• Experience with governance of device data, telemetry, geospatial data, video, synthetic data, or other complex data types
• Knowledge of Data Catalog, Data Lineage tools, and control automation
• Experience with Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and Policy-Based Access security models
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Data Governance
• Languages: Polish, English

• Defining and implementing the Data Governance framework, standards, and decision-making processes
• Designing mechanisms for data control, access, classification, and auditability
• Collaborating with architecture and engineering teams to implement security and governance requirements
• Creating and monitoring data quality rules and incident management processes
• Defining requirements for metadata and Data Lineage
• Supporting secure data sharing within the organization and with partners
• Coordinating privacy, compliance, and sensitive data areas
• Collaborating with legal, security, risk, and compliance teams
