Senior Integrations Engineer

1dea is a recruitment consulting company providing IT talent acquisition services for its clients. It has been operating in the Polish market for over 8 years and is gradually expanding its services to Western European markets.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience delivering backend systems and at least 2 years of full, independent management of integrations with external partners (end-to-end)
• Proficient knowledge of Go (or Python) and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Expert practical knowledge of REST, OpenAPI, webhooks, pagination, versioning, and error handling
• Production experience with event-driven architecture, including retries, poison messages, out-of-order delivery, and feedback loops
• Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (including GKE/Kubernetes, serverless compute, managed messaging, managed databases, IAM, and Terraform as IaC)
• Experience in direct technical discussions with engineering teams of partners (API negotiations, kickoff, go-live support, live incident de-escalation)
• Fluent written and spoken English communication
• Practical use of AI tools in daily engineering work (AI-supported code production, review, testing, delivery, validation)

Nice to have:

• Experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, autonomous vehicles, or robotics
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001)

• Creating end-to-end reliable integrations with external partners
• Responsibility for API contracts, SDK, documentation, and integration standards
• Building fault-tolerant event-driven systems in the GCP cloud using container orchestration, serverless solutions, and managed data and messaging layers
• Independently managing technical cooperation with partners (kickoff, development, deployment, incident handling, and post-deployment support)
