Software Engineer 2 - Allegro Busines

Allegro Business is growing fast and changing how companies buy online. They are building discount systems with an architecture capable of handling massive scale, crucial for acquiring clients in Small and Medium Enterprises.

• Code in Kotlin or Java and be excited to master Kotlin in a production environment.
• Be open to diverse technologies, including Frontend (React knowledge not required to be expert).
• Value high-quality code reviews and engage in substantive discussions on software engineering best practices.
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders and taking full end-to-end ownership of initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation to post-deployment monitoring.
• Have a solid foundation in microservices architecture.
• Experience working in cloud environments, understanding how to build scalable and resilient systems.
• English language proficiency at least at B2 level.

Own the architecture:

• Design and scale backend services capable of handling complex business accounts and high transaction volumes.

Lead & mentor:

• Set the bar for code quality.
• Manage technical debt.
• Share knowledge.

Ship real product:

• Collaborate directly with Product Manager and UX Designer to turn complex requirements into clean, working software.

Keep it rock-solid:

• Ensure critical services run smoothly and reliably.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
