Cloud Network Engineer

We are building a Cloud Center of Excellence responsible for establishing and evolving the cloud foundation used across a large-scale engineering organization. This role focuses on designing scalable cloud architecture, automation, governance, and reusable platform capabilities that enable multiple engineering teams to operate efficiently and securely.

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP
• Production-level Kubernetes experience, including networking, security, tenancy, and lifecycle management
• Advanced Terraform knowledge, including module design and reusable infrastructure patterns
• Solid networking fundamentals: VPC architecture, CIDR planning, DNS, and hybrid connectivity
• Experience operating in compliance-driven environments (SOC2, PCI-DSS, or similar)
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tooling
• Experience with observability platforms, including metrics, structured logging, and tracing
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to create and present architectural documentation

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Azure

• Design and implement cloud-native platform architecture on GCP
• Build scalable guardrails for multi-team, multi-environment platforms with compliance requirements
• Create reusable infrastructure components enabling self-service provisioning
• Define and evolve cloud governance practices, including IAM strategies, organizational policies, and policy-as-code
• Collaborate across engineering teams and participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and leadership forums
• Contribute to platform standards, operational excellence, and long-term cloud strategy
