UX/UI Designer

Techland is one of the biggest video game companies in Poland, with over 30 years of experience in the gaming industry. From studios in Wrocław and Warsaw, they have built an international team of more than 500 professionals dedicated to game development. Known for franchises like Call of Juarez and Dying Light, Techland focuses on open-world action, storytelling, and community engagement. The UX/UI team is responsible for presenting players with intuitive information through HUDs, menus, and graphical elements.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience designing UI for video games.
• Portfolio demonstrating game interfaces created for consoles and/or PC, showcasing both UX logic and UI art skills.
• High proficiency in Figma or similar software for wireframing, UI design, and prototyping.
• Comfort and willingness to learn proprietary software to integrate UI assets directly into the game engine.
• Very good understanding of interaction design and strong familiarity with User-Centered Design (UCD) principles.
• Proven ability to present complex concepts in easy-to-digest ways and strategically draw players’ eyes to critical information.
• Solid understanding of the game industry, video games, and current interface trends.
• Fluent communication in English, both verbal and written (minimum level B2).

• Work closely with Game Design, Art, UI Programming, and Production teams to shape the UX and interfaces of games, acting as a bridge between aesthetics and functionality.
• Define player experiences through user stories and flows, then visualize them with wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
• Refine designs based on stakeholder feedback, team critique, and playtest results.
• Prepare final-quality assets and implement them directly in-engine using proprietary GUI Editor tools.
