Senior Consultant, DevOps

Ensono is a global technology services provider dedicated to helping organizations navigate digital transformation. Through Ensono Product, Consulting & Technology, the consulting arm partners with clients to design, build, and modernize digital capabilities across application development and modernization, data platforms and AI, and identity and access management.

CI/CD & Automation:

• Design and build advanced CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab
• Create reusable pipeline templates and infrastructure modules (e.g., Terraform)
• Integrate automated quality checks, testing, and security scanning into pipelines

Infrastructure as Code & Cloud:

• Hands-on commercial experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform or cloud native tooling (ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation)

Kubernetes, Containerisation & Networking:

• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters for production workloads at scale
• Configure application routing using CDN, load balancers, and ingress controllers for single and multi-region architectures
• Knowledge of hub-and-spoke network architectures in cloud environments
• Experience with containerised applications hosted locally and on cloud native PaaS services (e.g., Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS Fargate)

Security, Quality & Testing:

• Support security architecture and contribute to naming conventions, patterns, and practices
• Identify and implement build pipelines to validate non-functional requirements (performance, security, compliance)
• Write and maintain tests for infrastructure code within existing frameworks
• Analyse security scan results, particularly CVE reports

Development & Debugging:

• Debug and troubleshoot applications in languages such as Java, C#, or Node.js

Ways of Working & Collaboration:

• Resolve technical challenges on complex projects and deliver quality outcomes
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical solutions and collaborating with stakeholders
• Provide informal guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers

Emerging Practices:

• Awareness of AI to accelerate project tasks such as documentation, refactoring, testing, and debugging
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is desirable

• Deliver complex projects as a key technical contributor with deep engineering skills
• Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables ensuring quality, security, and performance
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and client teams to achieve project goals
• Apply modern DevOps practices to design, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions
• Participate throughout the full project lifecycle from requirements to delivery and communication
• Provide guidance and informal mentoring to less experienced engineers
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including technical requirements analysis and proposal development
• Engage with Ensono Digital’s internal competencies to share knowledge and refine delivery approaches
