Security Engineer (Blue Team)

Join Comarch as a Security Engineer (Blue Team) responsible for ensuring the resilience of infrastructure and applications against threats. The role combines technical security aspects of systems (Linux/Cloud) with a process approach to software development (SSDLC). You will influence security policies and incident response in a modern technological environment.

• Solid experience in IT with a focus on Security
• Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, and network solutions
• Ability to create scripts and simple programs
• Understanding of CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)
• Good communication skills, proactivity in knowledge sharing, and teamwork ability
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Higher education preferred in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Telecommunications

Nice to have:

• Experience in DevSecOps (especially Kubernetes) and SIEM systems
• Experience with cloud environments
• Industry certifications: CISSP, CompTia Security+, CISM, CIA, CISA, CBCP

• Conduct security audits using professional tools and optimize them
• Analyze and respond quickly to incidents (Cloud, Endpoint, Network)
• Recommend and oversee the implementation of modern security solutions
• Support implementation of security policies and controls and assess compliance of new projects with these standards
• Participate in projects and review IT security systems
• Analyze external audit results and assist in creating training materials to raise security awareness
• Participate as an expert in software production and lifecycle management processes
