Cybersecurity Operations Project Manager

Hitachi Energy is a global company with a Security Operations Center (SOC) focused on cybersecurity operations in IT and OT environments.

• 3+ years of professional experience in project management within IT or cybersecurity, with a solid technical understanding.
• Previous experience working with security teams or a strong desire to develop in this field.
• Experience working in a global organization is beneficial.
• Comfortable working with remote teams across multiple time zones.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects involving diverse teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and project management tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and driven, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and create comprehensive project plans.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and maintain continuous dialogue with all stakeholders.
• Promote best practices in project management and support process improvement initiatives.
• Support and embed within operational teams, providing hands-on project guidance.
• Assist the department’s Service Manager in developing services and enhancing service delivery.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead associated projects to completion.
• Develop the SOC’s data analysis capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver consistent reporting to the PMO through periodic review meetings.
• Communicate effectively with internal project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.
