Agentic Code Analysis Engineer

Mend.io is the creator of the first AI Native AppSec Platform, helping global enterprises secure software from open source, custom code, and AI-generated components. The company focuses on intelligent automation, deep risk visibility, and developer-first experiences in application security. They are building a new team to redefine code analysis infrastructure by combining advanced GenAI techniques with deep static code analysis.

• MSc in Computer Science or related field from a top-tier institution (big advantage)
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python (primary)
• Familiarity with Java, C++, and JavaScript codebases
• Hands-on experience with LLMs / GenAI systems, including prompt engineering, inference optimization, and model evaluation
• Experience designing LLM-driven pipelines, including structured outputs (JSON schemas) and multi-step reasoning/verification flows
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with ML for code, static/dynamic analysis tools, and AST-level representations
• Experience with web application security, vulnerability detection, or remediation
• Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, C#, Python, Go, PHP
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments and CI/CD workflows (AWS, Azure)

• Design and implement machine learning and algorithmic solutions for code analysis
• Build GenAI-powered developer tools for static and semantic code analysis
• Enhance existing detection infrastructure with intelligent, context-aware insights
• Translate cutting-edge research into practical, scalable product features
