Solution Architect Java

TUiR WARTA S.A. is part of one of the largest international insurance and financial groups, located in Warsaw, Poland.

• 5 years of experience in designing and developing backend systems in Java (including about 2 years as Architect/Tech Lead/Senior Developer)
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud)
• Experience in designing distributed architecture (microservices) and system integration (REST, gRPC, event-driven – e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Ability to model and document architecture (e.g., UML, C4) and understanding of frontend integration and security (Angular, HTML/CSS)
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) and with tools like JIRA/Confluence
• Practical knowledge of Secure by Design principles and security standards (e.g., OWASP ASVS, SAMM)
• Experience implementing DevSecOps in CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins) and working with SAST, DAST, SCA tools (e.g., SonarQube, Acunetix, JFrog)
• Good knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML) and secret management
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and code quality and automated testing
• Basic knowledge of Linux environment

• Experience in insurance systems
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect (Sparx Systems)

• Designing architecture: creating and developing secure architecture for new and existing solutions based on the Java/Spring Boot ecosystem
• Security & DevSecOps: designing security mechanisms (authentication, authorization) and integrating DevSecOps practices and tools with CI/CD processes
• Standardization and documentation: creating architectural documentation and modeling solutions, as well as building software development standards (Secure by Design)
• Communication: conveying and explaining architectural assumptions and security requirements
• Prototyping and support: creating Proof of Concept for new solutions and technologies and actively supporting development teams in implementing the most complex modules
• Modernization: auditing existing systems, identifying technical debt/security gaps, and proposing optimizations
• Mentoring: promoting good programming practices, security culture, and sharing knowledge with development teams
