The Repayment UX Engineering team is a full-stack team located entirely in Europe within the same time zone, culturally rooted in Silicon Valley. The team improves the financial lives of over 20 million people by building and owning user journeys that enable them to pay back loans worth collectively over $30B each year. The team works in an agile and fast-paced environment, shipping new code to production almost every two-week sprint and rigorously measuring the impact on user behavior.
Wymagania
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin.
- Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Ability to take a simple problem or business scenario into a solution interacting with multiple software components, writing clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews.
- Proactive ownership of personal growth, seeking feedback from team, manager, and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills supporting effective collaboration with a global engineering team.

- Break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver them in multiple phases, and collaborate with others to ensure timely delivery.
- Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design, and analytics.
- Participate in ideation, articulate technical constraints, and partner on decisions considering risks and trade-offs.
- Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and supporting "keep the lights on" and on-call efforts.
- Engage in growth and development activities such as participation in the interview process to contribute to team community.
