Senior Data Architect

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to shape and develop the data ecosystem supporting next-generation technology initiatives. This person will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures and enabling seamless data integration across enterprise applications, connected technologies, operational environments, external partners, and advanced digital platforms.

• Demonstrated background in data architecture and engineering within complex, multi-source environments
• Strong practical experience building modern data integration and pipeline solutions
• Expertise working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed processing technologies
• Solid understanding of batch, streaming, and event-driven architectures
• Experience designing data models for both operational and analytical purposes
• Hands-on experience integrating telemetry, machine-generated, device, or operational data into enterprise data platforms
• Strong knowledge of APIs, interoperability standards, and integration methodologies
• Ability to operate both strategically as an architect and tactically as a delivery-focused engineering lead
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams

• Experience working in advanced technology, industrial, infrastructure, engineering, or innovation-focused environments
• Familiarity with edge-to-cloud architectures, digital twin concepts, simulation platforms, or AI-enabled data ecosystems

• Lead the design and ownership of end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, transformation, APIs, and consumption layers
• Develop scalable data pipelines handling structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and streaming data
• Integrate data across enterprise systems, IoT devices, operational platforms, external vendors, and partner networks
• Define standardized data models and integration frameworks for core business entities such as assets, locations, devices, products, events, users, and operational workflows
• Collaborate with governance and security teams to ensure data quality, lineage, access control, and compliance are embedded into the architecture
• Support real-time and near real-time data processing requirements
• Improve interoperability across diverse technical ecosystems and business domains
• Establish engineering best practices, monitoring standards, reliability measures, and DataOps processes
• Enable downstream use cases including analytics, AI solutions, simulations, and data product delivery
• Provide technical leadership on platform strategy, implementation priorities, and architectural trade-offs
