Bioinformatics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Developer/Engineer to bridge the gap between biological data science and software engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of analyzing complex biological datasets within the European or US markets.

• Proven track record of analyzing complex biological datasets within the European or US markets.
• Ability to derive meaningful biological insights from noisy or unstructured data.
• Commitment to writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where biological research goals may evolve.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-efficiency bioinformatics pipelines using Python and R.
• Build sophisticated, user-friendly dashboards and interactive applications using R Shiny and industry-standard BI tools (Tableau, Spotfire, or PowerBI).
• Architect and execute complex SQL queries to manage, extract, and transform large-scale biological datasets.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between bioinformatics tools and internal/external software services.
• Act as a technical translator between R&D scientists and IT teams, ensuring that computational solutions meet rigorous biological research requirements.
