Tech Lead - Java

• Strong experience in Java development (typically 5+ years).
• Previous experience in a technical leadership role (e.g. Tech Lead, Team Lead or Senior Engineer mentoring others).
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications for the Java platform.
• Solid understanding of JVM, OOP and common design patterns.
• Experience building highly scalable REST microservices.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and engineering best practices (e.g. TDD, code reviews).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Very good English (written and spoken).

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, quality and continuous improvement.
• Driving delivery of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborating closely with Product, Architecture and other stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Owning the technical direction of the team, including design decisions, architecture and best practices.
