Vehicle Handling Designer / Vehicle Physics Tuner (UE5)

We are a UE5-focused game development studio creating an immersive automotive game. Our projects focus heavily on authentic vehicles, automotive history, and emotionally engaging player experiences. We aim to recreate not only how iconic cars look, but also how they feel to drive.

• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and handling
• Passion for automotive culture and realistic driving behavior
• Experience tuning vehicles in games, simulators, or vehicle systems
• Understanding of suspension, drivetrain, differential behavior, tire grip, weight distribution, braking, and steering response
• Ability to analyze and improve driving feel
• Good communication skills and ability to iterate with teams
• Good English communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Experience with Chaos Vehicles or other vehicle systems
• Experience with simulation games or racing games
• Understanding of telemetry and vehicle data analysis
• Experience with controller/force feedback tuning
• Experience working with historic or unusual vehicles
• Basic Blueprint knowledge

• Configure and tune vehicle handling inside Unreal Engine 5
• Balance suspension, steering, braking, grip, drivetrain, and weight transfer
• Adjust vehicle behavior to match real-world references and driving characteristics
• Work with existing vehicle systems and plugins
• Tune classic, historic, and unique vehicles for believable driving feel
• Test and iterate on vehicle setups
• Collaborate with gameplay programmers and technical teams
• Analyze reference materials, onboard videos, telemetry, and real-world vehicle data
• Help improve the overall player driving experience
