Senior Business/Data Analyst

This position is within Link Group, a B2B multinational manufacturing environment. The role focuses on strengthening commercial decision-making by improving data governance, reporting consistency, and automation across business and IT teams.

• 5+ years in a similar role within a B2B multinational manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on skills with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data tools (SQL, Python)
• Solid understanding of ERP/CRM ecosystems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce
• Experience improving reporting through automation and better visualization practices
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence without formal authority
• High attention to detail, good organization, and ability to work across time zones
• Proactive mindset and interest in new technologies and automation

Your mission:

• Ensure teams across regions use the same KPI definitions and reporting logic
• Catch data issues early through clear validation standards and monitoring
• Make reporting faster and more reliable through automation
• Align business and IT on data improvements and system changes

Data quality & governance:

• Set practical rules for data quality including validation checks, standards, and documentation
• Investigate mismatches between systems/reports and coordinate fixes
• Build and maintain documentation on data handling (SOPs, definitions)
• Clean up and standardize reporting
• Align reporting across regions including KPI definitions, structures, and datasets
• Identify and remove overlapping dashboards
• Maintain a clear map of reporting assets and their data sources

Automation & modern analytics:

• Identify repetitive/manual reporting tasks and automate them
• Define requirements and measurable outcomes for automation initiatives
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, documented, and adopted by the team
• Use AI-assisted approaches to speed up insights such as trend and anomaly spotting

Business–IT delivery:

• Translate commercial needs into data/reporting requirements
• Support planning and prioritization of data initiatives
• Coordinate user acceptance testing by identifying users and guiding validation
