System Engineer for legacy application C/C++

• Knowledge and experience in C / C++
• Experience with scrum
• Experience with CI/CD
• Use of GitHub Copilot

• Take end-to-end ownership of 4450 / LETU and related components
• Analyse and understand data flows, integrations, and dependencies across systems
• Support mandatory regulatory or business-driven changes
• Incident investigation and debugging
• Packaging and deployment activities
• Work across C / C++ codebase, DScreen UI layer, VBA-based document templates, and minor Java integration components
• Knowledge consolidation including reverse engineering and knowledge transfer structuring
• Improvement of documentation and operational stability
• Contribute to lifecycle decisions such as maintain vs. modernise vs. decommission
• Participate in effort vs. value trade-off discussions with stakeholders
