Automation Tester

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience in mobile automation (Appium is a must-have) and proficiency in C#.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Reqnroll, RestSharp, and Postman/Newman.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and Appium architecture (locators, gestures).
• Experience with NoSQL databases and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps).

Domain Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of the Retail sector and the payment lifecycle.
• Familiarity with secure testing practices and data validation.
• Experience navigating multi-channel systems (API + Web + Mobile).

Automation & Quality Engineering:

• Design, build, and scale automated test suites for RESTful APIs, microservices, and native mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Implement and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium (or equivalent) and C#, validating behavior across real devices and emulators.
• Embed automated tests into Azure DevOps Pipelines to support continuous integration and rapid delivery.
• Partner with developers to enhance testability and define a comprehensive mobile quality strategy.

Functional & Non-Functional Testing:

• Execute end-to-end (E2E) testing across web, API, and mobile layers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Conduct deep-dive validations including device compatibility, gestures, and mobile performance.
• Promote early testing practices and support security, load, and performance testing activities.

Scrum Team Collaboration:

• Engage in all ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Refinement, Retrospectives) and refine User Stories/Acceptance Criteria.
• Champion the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) with a rigorous focus on quality.

Tooling & Documentation:

• Utilize Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, and real-time reporting via dashboards.
• Produce clear technical documentation and mentor the team on best practices.
