Senior Platform Engineer

Lendable is a UK-based fintech company with over 700 employees, profitable since 2017, backed by investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs. The company has rebuilt major consumer finance products such as loans, credit cards, and car finance, operating in the UK, US, and Mexico markets.

• Production experience operating Kubernetes at scale
• Proven ability to improve developer experience and platform adoption
• Deep cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Strong infrastructure-as-code skills with Terraform; Terragrunt is a plus
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Flux
• Proficiency in scripting with TypeScript/Node, Python, or Go
• Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, and security fundamentals

• Design and manage core AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Build and operate Kubernetes, GitOps, and observability tooling
• Shape production deployment processes including progressive rollouts, canary deploys, and rollbacks
• Integrate security into the SDLC with policy-as-code, OIDC-based cloud access, secret scanning, and pre-merge controls
• Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure, database, and deployment best practices
• Provide and improve CI/CD and developer tooling
• Participate in on-call rotation supported by observability and tooling
• Utilize AI-assisted tooling for code generation, debugging, and platform operations
