Senior Data/Python Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from Trójmiasto with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering
• Strong software engineering skills and effective problem-solving abilities
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience creating complex queries
• Understanding of distributed data processing and large-scale data flows
• Practical knowledge of cloud technologies and modern data platforms
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Argo Workflows, or similar
• Knowledge of infrastructure topics (storage systems, microservices, pipeline architecture)
• Experience working with notebooks and data analysis workflows
• Troubleshooting and operational support of production data pipelines
• Understanding of data search and data discovery principles
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level (work in an international environment)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Spark / PySpark
• Knowledge of Databricks
• Experience in time-series data analysis
• Understanding of data preparation processes and ML data flows
• Experience supporting data pipelines for analytics, simulation, or ML applications
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms and distributed systems
• Higher education in computer science

• Support of simulation data in the development of autonomous vehicles (AV) in obstacle detection, route planning, and analysis of complex road situations
• Work with sensor data (cameras, LiDAR, radar) from a test fleet generating up to 1 TB of data per hour
• Build and optimize data curation pipelines from raw sensor readings to simulation-ready datasets
• Process and analyze large-scale sensory data generated by the test fleet
• Close collaboration with engineers and researchers developing critical AV safety systems

• Work hours include standard hours plus meetings twice a week with the USA team from 18:00 to 19:00
• Cooperation under B2B contract with ITFS (first contract until 31.12.26)
• Recruitment process: short interview with ITFS (~15 min) followed by two technical-project interviews with the client
• Location: 100% remote
