AWS Python Develper

We are currently looking for an experienced AWS Python Developer to join a strategic cloud engineering initiative within the banking sector. The role focuses on supporting enterprise-scale cloud adoption and building secure, scalable and automated AWS-based solutions aligned with a Cloud First strategy. You will work within international engineering teams responsible for developing and supporting modern cloud platforms across a broad AWS ecosystem. This position combines hands-on Python development, AWS engineering, DevOps automation and cloud security, with a strong focus on operational resilience, scalability and secure infrastructure delivery.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development and automation
• Practical experience working with AWS services in enterprise-scale environments
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git and Ansible
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience deploying, supporting and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions
• Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and secure solution delivery in AWS environments
• Experience working with automation, deployment and operational support processes
• Ability to work effectively within international and cross-functional engineering teams
• Strong engineering mindset focused on ownership, reliability and automation

• Support compliance dashboard improvements and operational monitoring initiatives
• Participate in major incident investigations and provide rotational 24/7 support coverage
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git and Ansible
• Contribute to automation, scalability and operational excellence initiatives across cloud environments
• Collaborate with international engineering and infrastructure teams in Agile delivery environments
• Ensure alignment with secure engineering standards, compliance requirements and DevOps best practices
